An 11-year-old Belgian malinois police dog held fast to a suspect fleeing an illegal marijuana operation in the US – even after the suspect stabbed the dog nine times.
The dog, which was wearing a protective vest, was given first aid and flown to the Veterinary Specialty Center in Medford, Oregon, where it was treated and then released later that day, according to the Associated Press.
