Ancol Pet Products supported Birmingham Dogs Home at its annual family fun day at the charity’s Catherine De Barnes centre – an event that raised more than £12,400.
The Midlands-based accessories business has a partnership with Birmingham Dogs Home and helped judge the dog show. The fun day also included a police dog demonstration, tombolas, pet photography, refreshments and a barbeque.
Sarah Lane, director of Sales at Ancol, said: “We are always so pleased to support BDH and to be involved with their fundraising days as the atmosphere is always so upbeat and positive, albeit a little emotional at times. We love working with the charity and their fantastic team and will always do as much as we can to help.”
Many of the dogs in the show had been rehomed from BDH, making the event extra special for their owners and the home’s staff.
