After only two years in the dog treats market, a rapidly-increasing number of trade enquiries have promoted West Lothian-based Arming to set up a wholesale division.
The Scottish business entered the category with discounted deer antler pieces branded as Ace Antlers.
‘Unprecedented demand and fantastic feedback’ resulted in the company being approached by multiple retailers to stock its products. So, to manage the growing number of wholesale enquiries, Arming has set up Woof Wholesale and advertises a small yet growing selection of natural dog chews, such as buffalo horn and dried ears, in addition to its antler pieces.
“Attractive RRPs and generous margins will undoubtedly attract retailers,” said the company’s Khalid Khames.
