Pet food and accessories manufacturer Pets Choice has won a local business award for international trade.
The company, whose brands include Webbox, Bob Martin, TastyBone, Spike’s, Meatiful and WildThings, was given the Export Achievement Award by the East Lancashire Chamber of Commerce. Judges congratulated the company on its success in moving into new and diverse markets such as Africa and the Middle East by entering the Moroccan market, launching a range of bespoke products into South Africa and working on projects to launch their products into Saudi, Kuwait and Oman.
Pets Choice ceo Tony Raeburn said: “This award recognises our growth in international markets, and I am extremely proud of the achievement. Awards like this show just how passionate we are about bringing our innovative products to pet owners across the globe. To build on this we are pleased to be doubling our export team to ensure we have resource to maximise our growth.”
Pets Choice, based in Blackburn, Lancashire, now exports to over 45 countries, and has won the award for the second year running.
