Raw dog food manufacturer Benyfit Natural has made a further innovation in sustainability with the launch of new 100% recyclable cardboard box packaging.
The new delivery box has insulation inserts made from fully biodegradable cardboard, which can be recycled in household recycling bins, instead of polystyrene. The new cardboard box is made from ethically sourced and sustainable cardboard material, which makes it biodegradable, and when paired with the brand’s Prevented Ocean Plastic tub means that each delivery is now 100% recyclable.
Greg Van Praagh, head of UK & Europe at brand owner RPFC, said: “Our new recyclable cardboard box packaging is just one step closer to fulfilling our promise of reducing our impact on our planet.
“Pet owners are increasingly seeking products that are not just healthy for their dogs but also for the planet and our focus is to deliver this to all our customers. We looked at many options when making the decision to remove polystyrene from our deliveries, with most liners requiring access to compost or special recycling centres, our cardboard liners can go straight into the recycling at home.”
