Freeze-dried raw food brand Coya is now stocked by more than 750 retail outlets following its debut at the PATS Sandown show in March.
And the brand is aiming for further engagement with retailers at the forthcoming PATS Telford show with some exclusive offers on its stand (C32) at the event at the Telford Exhibition Centre, starting on Sunday October 1.
Retailer Nick Tegg, from Roker’s Animal Feed in Guildford, has integrated the freeze-dried raw brand into his overall raw food offering. He said: “I can see freeze-dried raw really helping the raw category generally. We do lot of frozen raw, but it’s not for everyone.
“There are customers who will fully switch from frozen to freeze-dried, the convenience is undeniable. But I think there’s a huge opportunity for people to use freeze-dried raw as a flexible way of feeding raw food, whether that’s together with frozen, as a holiday feed or mixed in as a meal booster in with a dry variety.
“In the short time we have had it available I see raw buyers buying both frozen raw and freeze-dried raw and using them both together to suit their weekly lifestyles.”
The Coya range includes freeze-dried raw food, meal toppers and treats for adult dogs and puppies, and is available to order direct from the company or through Pedigree Wholesale.
