CSJ is delighted that its courier DPD – deemed the UK’s most sustainable delivery company – is doubling the size of its all-electric Green Fleet.
The courier has ordered 750 Maxus ‘edeliver’ vehicles and is already delivering ‘green’ to UK cities.
As an eco-conscious company, CSJ says it is committed to an ongoing process of making its business as green as possible and actively seeks to work with like-minded suppliers and partners.
The company’s owner and founder, Ceri Rundle, said: “We are consciously looking at everything we do and recently started encouraging customers to cut down on their number of deliveries by, for example, ordering in multiples of two bags so halving the deliveries and delivery costs to themselves.
“Also, earlier this year, we re-launched our Billy No Mates! flea, tick and mites easy use tincture in a bottle made from recycled milk bottle tops.
“Last year’s March covid 19 lockdown illustrated what a huge difference the lack of traffic made to air quality and the environment in a very short time and this reinforced our determination to continue to strive for sustainability and green opportunities in every step of our processes.”
