Sales of Dorwest’s Keeper’s Mix continue to go from strength to strength and in 2020 exceeded expectations so contributed £5,000 to the Dorwest Foundation.
Herbal specialist Dorwest Herbs launched the Foundation to show its commitment to ongoing charitable giving – which helps dogs and cats in need of care, health and quality-of-life improvements – through sales of its all-round herbal health supplement. Ten per cent of the profit from every Keeper’s Mix sale goes direct to the foundation.
Dorwest is delighted to reveal the five charities that have each received £1,000 this year. They are German Shepherd Recue Elite, Animal SOS Sri Lanka, Dogs On Streets, Barley Greyhound Sanctuary and Dobermann Rescue UK and Europe.
Jo Boughton-White, Dorwest MD, said: “Every day brings new challenges to charities, especially in this unprecedented year where sadly we have seen charities having to close. This cash makes a real difference and I want to thank each and every one of our customers who have contributed.
“We hope to help even more dogs and cats going forward, and we send a huge thank you to all those who work in the charities for their endless care.”
Third-generation family business Dorwest was founded in the West Country in 1948.
