Herbal supplement supplier Dorwest has donated £6,000 to animal causes through its charitable arm, the Dorwest Foundation.
Launched in 2018, the Foundation helps dogs and cats that are in need of care, health and quality of life improvement as well as supporting dogs that are trained to help humans either in an assistance, rescue or medical capacity. The firm makes an annual donation based on sales of special Foundation products Keeper’s Mix and Keeper’s Mix Sensitive, with 10% of profits going to charity.
This year, Dorwest has nominated five charities to share £6,000 – Dorset Search Dogs, Lucky’s Legacy Rescue, Dogs on the Streets, Forever Hounds Trust and The Cinnamon Trust.
Dorwest managing director Jo Boughton-White said: “Every day brings new challenges to charities, especially in the last few unprecedented years. This cash makes a real difference and I want to thank each and every one of our customers who have contributed.
“We hope to help even more dogs and cats going forward, and we send a huge thank you to all those who work in the charities for their endless care.”
