Mars Petcare has worked with UK creative agency AMV BBDO to launch Pet Health Pal – a new online ‘chat bot’ to answer dog and cat owners’ questions and concerns about their pets’ health during the coronavirus pandemic.
The bot launched this week and is believed to be the first of its kind. Using cute dog and cat animations, it answers users’ questions via Facebook and WhatsApp, and is also being trialled across Instagram in the US and UK.
Topics covered will include the effects of covid-19 on pets, feeding cats and dogs and general animal wellbeing.
To access Pet Health Pal, owners can visit Pedigree.com or Whiskas.com, or go to the global Waltham Petcare Science Institute Facebook page for more information.
