Natural pet food brand Nature’s Variety says it is taking steps to help its customers’ environmental ‘pawprint’ this autumn with a move to more eco-friendly packaging and an aim to be 100% recyclable by 2024.
The Norfolk-based brand will be moving to recyclable packaging for all its dry products from October. Its complete freeze-dried food, chunks and complete raw food formats will also move to new recyclable packets.
Together with its sister brand, Natures Menu, Nature’s Variety prides itself on its ethical and sustainable supply chain, knowing precisely what goes into its products and where they come from, using British suppliers and ethical product sources wherever possible.
James Langan, managing director of Nature’s Variety, said: “We know that waste and the impact on the environment is a growing concern for our customers and they’re looking to make more sustainable choices in all areas of their lives, including their pets.
“We’re proud to be able to offer our new recyclable packaging for Nature’s Variety as we know that when you’re feeding one or more pets multiple times a day recyclable packaging can be the small change that makes a big difference.”
