Alternative protein dog treat brand Mr Bug has created a shelf display unit for trade customers.
Mr Bug was created last year to provide a sustainable treat based on Devon-farmed mealworms baked with an array of beneficial extra ingredients including beetroot, parsnips, sweet potato, honey, peanut butter and vegan cheese. The manufacturer claims that the products contain more calcium than milk, more B12 than salmon, more iron than spinach and access to all nine amino acids.
There are four varieties in the Mr Bug range – The Veggie One, The Fruity One, The Nutty One and The Cheesy One.
The new counter unit can hold 20 x 80g packs of treats and is available for £88+VAT, with a minimum order of 40 packs – 10 of each flavour. Individual flavours are supplied in cartons of 10 packs.
The display units are available from the beginning of February.
