Raw pet food manufacturer Nutriment Raw has launched a new campaign which will see it donate meals to rescue centres in proportion to sales of the brand.
The ‘Together we care’ campaign pledges to donate a meal to rescue dogs for every 10kg of Nutriment Raw food purchased, both online and in-store, during November.
Nutriment’s head of commercial Ryan Winwright said: “Nutriment is a business that prioritises animal health, wellbeing and welfare in every element of what we do. We couldn’t operate conscientiously without doing our bit to support animals across the UK who are victim to neglect and homelessness.
“With ‘Together we care’, we’re inviting our customers to be part of our charity story. Together we can make a difference because together we care.”
Charity centre Animal Rescue Cumbria will benefit from receiving the donated meals.
General manager Marion Yates said: “We want the best for our residents here at Animal Rescue Cumbria, and Nutriment’s generous support has enabled us, as a small charity, to feed a healthy, nutritious and tasty diet to our rescue cats and dogs.
“We are therefore thrilled to be part of the Nutriment charity campaign this month and are hugely grateful to Nutriment customers for supporting us via the campaign.”
During its 10-year history, Nutriment has donated 60,000 meals to rescue centres through charity campaigns.
