Pet Product supplier Ferplast has converted part of its production plant in the Ukraine so it can manufacture protective face masks during the coronavirus crisis.
Employees at the factory have utilised their sewing skills to produce the masks with the first products being donated to the local area.
General manager Nicola Vaccari said: “We currently have the capacity to produce 5,000 masks per day with cutting-edge, protective and washable fabrics.
“We quickly responded to the call of the authorities to give an indispensable service in this unique historical moment, to give our contribution and to be able to return to normal life soon.”
