Natural dog treat company Opie’s Emporium appeared on BBC One’s ‘Dragons’ Den’ last night (Thursday) and tempted entrepreneur Tuker Suleyman to make an investment offer in the business.
Opie’s Emporium is a Scottish pet treat manufacturing company based in Glasgow, making 100% natural, air-dried treats, using British ingredients.
The company was started in 2018 by Dom Hogan, who describes herself as ‘just one crazy dog lady’, who has one pug and five French bulldogs. She says she is passionate about healthy, natural and super tasty treats for them and other hounds.
Dom entered the Dragon’s Den with one of her pets, Opie, and persuaded Tuker Suleyman to make an offer of £55,000 for a 35% stake in the company.
