Swedencare’s flagship product, ProDen PlaqueOff Powder, has been awarded the Veterinary Oral Health Council Seal of Acceptance.
The seal was awarded following a test on small and medium dogs, divided into two groups with one receiving the ProDen PlaqueOff and the other a placebo. They were given the product over 30 days and then the presence of plaque and tartar was measured.
Swedencare CEO Håkan Lagerberg said: “This will allow this product, as well as the ProDen PlaqueOff Dental Bites dog treat product, to be carried by veterinary practices owned by commercial companies that have a policy of offering only VOHC-accepted oral hygiene products.”
