Dog biscuit brand Pointer has created a promotion which will see treasure hunts for dogs and their owners launched at 10 UK sites next month.
The company will place special tubs at designated park locations, each one containing a range of accessories and treat rewards enabling dogs to complete a series of activities such as performing tricks and sniffing out treats. Owners of pets completing every step of the Treasure Hunt put themselves in the running for a grand prize containing a £20 voucher, a poo bag dispenser and treat bag, a dog toy and Pointer product, with a winner from each location chosen at random.
Participants receive a certificate and will be encouraged to upload a picture to social media. Everyone who participates and takes a photo will be given a £5 voucher, redeemable online against Pointer pet products.
Cassandra Brennan, senior marketing executive at Pointer, said: “The Pointer way is to create fun, lasting experiences for our furry friends with tasty treats, and the Treasure Hunt is an expansion of this.
“We are giving dogs up and down the country a fun challenge that will see them getting to run free, use their noses, and of course – their wit! We’re so excited to see the pictures and choose our champions.”
