ROGZ world HQ – based in South Africa – has revealed that it is now operating a new warehouse in the UK.
This strategic move means the well-known accessories brand has streamlined its UK operation to ensure stock will be available and delivered quickly and competitively to the pet market with immediate effect.
Having been present in the UK for nearly 20 years, the change, which Rogz says was ‘always on the cards’, was brought forward mainly due to Brexit. Having found importing into the UK since January 2021 more complicated and onerous than expected, ‘it made sense’. Growing frustrations among retailers led ROGZ to make what was ultimately an easy decision.
“We are very excited with this new chapter in our UK business evolution,” said John Henshilwood, head of ROGZ sales in Europe.
“This effectively means our service levels in the UK will be vastly improved. Our customers will now have quick and easy access to our high quality range of pet accessories at new and competitive pricing.
“We have always known that our products were of the highest quality and had a loyal following – but a somewhat inconsistent supply chain and inflated price points proved to be challenging when trying to gain sales traction.
“Now we are effectively re-launching as Rogz UK, with stock of all our best selling lines ready to supply – and we are really excited about the opportunity.”
The business will continue under the guidance of the experienced Sallie-Ann Reed, who has been part of the ROGZ UK Team since 2014.
