Pupstarts Breeders is taking part in Crufts for the first time to raise awareness of the education and support available for puppy breeders.
Rebecca Walters, founder of Pupstarts and a training provider to the dog breeding sector, has 25 years experience as a breeder and is the creator of the UK’s first OFQUAL-regulated Level 3 certificate in dog breeding.
She hopes the company’s trade stand at the world’s biggest dog show will be a chance to meet breeders face to face and help her mission to raise standards through education.
Rebecca said: “I’m really excited to be taking part in Crufts, a celebration of all things dog, and especially to be able to connect with breeders to safeguard the dogs of the future.
“Being a breeder can be overwhelming and lonely and I want people to know that support is out there whether it’s for formal education or simply to connect with other breeders.
“We’re at Crufts for four days and will be running Q and A sessions, talking about how to access our free training programmes, competitions and visitors to the stand will have the chance to get personalised advice and support.”
Crufts 2023 takes place on March 9–12 at the NEC, Birmingham. The Pupstarts stand will be in Hall 5, Stand 148 and Rebecca, her team and her German wired haired pointer Sally will be on the stand throughout the four days of the show.
