A pet trade entrepreneur has created a new brand aiming to deliver consistent and high-quality boarding facilities through a network of professional members.
Claire Hunter, owner and managing director of award-winning day care centre Claire’s Comfy Canines, has launched Hunters Dog Holidays designed to offer “the ultimate holiday for dogs”, and is seeking to recruit independent operators to join the programme.
Once signed up, potential members will attend a three-day training programme covering dog behaviour, operations, licencing, customer services among other topics. All members will be fully licenced by their local authority and will receive full support with their licence applications as well as templates for the necessary paperwork.
Once members are fully trained and licenced, they will have a profile on the Hunters website, have full access to the trademarked logo and their own Hunters email address. Members can choose one of three different membership tiers, with a monthly subscription to maintain membership and website presence.
Hunter said: “Having spent the last 14 years building the award-winning Claire’s Comfy Canines Ltd, we are now excited to share our new adventure and help other dog lovers achieve their own business dreams.
“We are looking to expand our network of members with dog lovers, and opportunities in each area will be limited.”
