The Professional Association of Canine Trainers (PACT) has changed hands in a move that the new owners say will be ‘a step towards revolutionising and regulating the dog training sector in the UK and beyond.
PACT is an Animal Behaviour & Training Council practitioner organisation that teaches, coaches and assesses dog training professionals working towards their ABTC registration in line with the ABTC Animal Training Instructor standards.
The new directors are Corrin and Steve Goodall and Natalie and Jason Light, two husband-and-wife teams livinh in South Hampshire and with more than 50 years experience between them relating to dog training, behaviour and ownership.
“We are so excited about this amazing opportunity to revolutionise the dog training sector in the UK,” they said. “We are looking forward to supporting our students and helping them work towards their ABTC registration along with promoting the importance of science-led, ethical & effective training methods.
“By increasing the number of educated, qualified and experienced dog training professionals available to the public, we hope to make a real difference to the welfare of our canine companions.”
