Visitors to the PATS 2024 trade show later this year will have the opportunity to attend state-of-the art grooming demonstrations, talks and Q&As during the three days of the event.
The exhibition, which takes place at Telford International Centre on Sunday September 29 until Tuesday October 1, 2024, will feature some of the country’s leading groomers within The Grooming Workshop, held in association with pet care brand For All DogKind.
Over the three days of PATS, the workshops will include live demos, including the secrets behind creating the perfect groom; a live grooming competition; experts in special Q&A sessions; plus talks on how dog grooming can benefit pet shops, how social media can benefit a grooming business and ways to increase turnover through grooming services.
Demonstrations on the first two days of the show (Sunday and Monday) will highlight the knowledge and expertise required to successfully complete all traditional grooming techniques, while the focus of the talks and Q&A sessions on the third day (Tuesday) will be on the potential benefits of adding grooming to retail premises.
PATS organiser Gordon Thomas said: “We’re really excited to be running such a full programme of grooming talks and demonstrations in association with For All DogKind.
“The grooming demos have always been a highlight of PATS shows and it’s great to be staging such an interesting programme once more.”
For All DogKind director Laura Redstone added: “We feel honoured to be organising the PATS Grooming Workshop for a second year.
“We are trying to raise awareness among groomers about the opportunity to expand their businesses via pet retails – and for retailers to have an additional opportunity to get people through the door. Our exposure at PATS has really helped with this.”
She added: “With the show being a three-day event, it gives us a great opportunity to provide a Workshop to cover more live demos, a grooming competition, social media support and Q&As with industry leading experts. PATS is the place to be this year.”
