Raven chicks have been born in the Tower of London for the first time in 30 years.
The four new arrivals were from breeding pair Huginn and Muninn, which moved into the London landmark at the end of last year.
The Tower usually has six ravens at any one time and, according to legend, if they ever leave, both the fortress and the kingdom will suffer, reports the Independent.
Ravenmaster Chris Skaife said: “Having worked with the ravens here at the Tower for the last 13 years and getting to know each of them, I feel like a proud father.”
