Dog day care business Bruce’s opened its ninth site this week.
The new location, at Umberslade Farm Park, Solihull, West Midlands, was officially opened by Councillor Mark Cargill, chairman of the local council, along with consort Mrs Kathryn Cargill and Bruce’s operations manager Mark Dickson.
The centre marks Bruce’s first expansion out of the south of England. The company’s specially-adapted Doggy Buses will pick up customers based in Solihull, Birmingham South and Sutton Coldfield and travel to the countryside site where dogs can enjoy playgrounds, enrichment activities and heated indoor shelters while socialising with other dogs under expert supervision from the Bruce’s team. Customers who use the owner drop-off and collection option can also enjoy a speciality coffee shop and children’s play barn.
Bruce’s founder Bruce Casalis said: “Having been able to offer our award-winning services to dogs in the South of England for the past 10+ years, we are thrilled to be expanding our service up the country to the West Midlands.
“Our collection and drop-off service will help accommodate customers from across southern Birmingham and Solihull and we can’t wait to welcome new happy, waggy-tailed customers from this December.”
