PetsPyjamas has recognised the 15 most pet-friendly UK holidays in its Dog-Friendly Travels Awards.
Widbrook Grange, a country farmhouse retreat in Bradford-on-Avon, Wiltshire, won ‘Best in Show’. Widbrook allows dogs to join their owners for meals in the bar, snuggery or conservatory area and, for special celebrations, even offers doggy soirées complete with party hats, bandanas, ‘pupcakes’ and birthday cakes.
Bovey Castle & Spa, in Dartmoor, Devon, won the ‘Most Instagrammable’ category – launched in 2019 in response to ‘Instagram adventures’ becoming a growing trend for dog-friendly travel – for its ‘awe-inspiring’ rural backdrop and dogs being able to join their owners for afternoon tea in the ‘cathedral room’.
