Vets for Pets Basildon Pitsea has officially re-opened after the refurbishment and rebrand of its 24-hour hospital facility in Essex.
The practice now features a new exotic ward, a new cat ward and an expanded dog ward, with the dog and cat wards now fully separated.
In addition, the facility now includes a new MRI scanner, a dedicated dental suite, ophthalmology services, a range of rehabilitation services such as hydrotherapy and physiotherapy, a dedicated isolation suite and improved facilities for outpatients and clients with mobility issues.
Both existing and new customers were invited to attend the official opening on August 18, which included behind the scenes tours and opportunities to meet members of the veterinary team.
Practice owner and head veterinary surgeon Dr Shola Idowu said: “It’s been great for everyone to finally see the full renovation in all its glory. With these facilities, including a wide range of advanced services, we can now offer our patients a more holistic approach to their treatment as we can continue to provide the best care possible to all the pets we look after.”
