Work is set to start on a new £1.6m veterinary hospital in West Yorkshire.
Chantry Vets is transforming a former office block in Wakefield into a state-of-the-art hospital after outgrowing its current premises in Alverthorpe.
The hospital will be one of the most modern, high-tech facilities in the north of England, providing 24-hour care and an expansion of their advanced services.
Plans for the hospital include five consultation rooms, kennels, and separate cat and dog wards and it will be able to house some of the most modern equipment such as a new CT scanner, x-ray machine and endoscope.
Work to transform the building starts this summer and is expected to be completed early next year.
For more than 50 years, Chantry Vets has been providing healthcare for small animals at its surgeries across West Yorkshire and the practice has about 20,000 clients.
