Final preparations are being made to the PATS Sandown pet trade show, which opens its doors this Sunday and Monday (March 27-28).
More than 130 companies and brands will be exhibiting hundreds of new products at the event. Highlights include the New Product Showcase, sponsored by pbwnews, and demonstrations from leading figures in the grooming industry.
More than 200 entries to the Showcase will judged by a panel of retailers for the New Product Awards on the first morning of the show, and the results will be highlighted throughout the Surrey and Esher Halls for the rest of the exhibition.
Show organiser Gordon Thomas said: “There has been a tremendous amount of work going on behind the scenes to make sure that PATS Sandown delivers the widest range of exhibitors, new products and grooming demonstrations, all under one roof.
“There is so much to see and do inside the exhibition halls I would advise visitors to arrive early at Sandown Park in Esher, Surrey – the show opens on both days at 9.30am. We can’t wait to greet everyone.”
This year’s Sandown show takes on extra significance as it will be the 25th PATS exhibition to be staged. To celebrate the milestone, a special drinks reception sponsored by pbwnews will be held after the first day of the event. Exhibitors and visitors will be invited to stay behind for the reception, which will also be marking the 50th anniversary of Pedigree Wholesale, a regular exhibitor at PATS.
PATS Sandown offers free show entry, free parking, a free catalogue and many special, show-only deals. Food and drink is available and visitors will receive a free cup of tea or coffee voucher, which will be redeemable all day.
Pet product retailers and buyers can still register for free entry to PATS Sandown and find a full list of exhibitors at www.patshow.co.uk.
The show runs from 9.30am-5pm on Sunday March 27, and 9.30am-4pm on Monday March 28.
