Pet grooming brand Bugalugs has gained its first major listing with award-winning retail chain Just for Pets.
The brand will be stocked across all 18 Just for Pets stores and online under the ‘Best of British’ pledge with listings at new Just for Pets stores also under consideration.
Claire Raybould, buyer at Just for Pets, said: “Premium, quality brands made in Britain are exactly what we’re looking for. Brands like Bugalugs are the reason we launched the Best of British pledge earlier this year to help support and launch smaller pet brands across our stores, while supporting our suppliers wherever possible.
“The brand instantly stood out at PATS, with bright, colourful packaging. The products smell amazing and the bigger bottles offer customers great value. We’re looking forward to even more Bugalugs innovation to come.”
Created in a family-run factory, Lakeland Cosmetics, in Cumbria, all Bugalugs products are tested on humans rather than animals and are suitable for vegans.
Lee Dobinson, managing director of Bugalugs, said: “This year was our first time attending PATS Telford and the support has been overwhelming. We are quickly becoming the UK’s fastest selling dog care range and look forward to hearing from more specialist pet retailers.
“Our natural ethos that puts pet health and wellbeing first really matches that of Just for Pets and we’re so excited to launch the range in all stores this week. The products were quickly selected by the buying team at PATS and Bugalugs products are now on shelf, with some really positive initial feedback from consumers and store teams.”
