Brambles Pet and Wildlife is urging people to continue sending food and essential supplies to rescues – and has put its money where its mouth is and increased its own donations.
“Wildlife Rescues have been really struggling to get hold of food and supplies during the recent panic-buying spree despite being inundated with an unprecedented amount animals in their care,” said Gail Tracey, of Brambles.
The company says supplies are essential to these rescues, which continue to do their ‘amazing work’ saving British wildlife.
And, in a bid to help, Brambles Pet & Wildlife has ramped up its own donations of food to rescues, with many giveaways over the last few weeks, which have been really well received.
Gail said: “People are living under extreme circumstances during this covid-19 outbreak and donations to charities and wildlife rescues are not at the top of many people’s priority list.
“In addition, wildlife rescues have had to cancel all of their fundraising events that they desperately need to keep open and many will be in danger of closing for good, and so, donations are even more important to the rescues than ever before.”
