Award-winning pet chain Just for Pets opened its latest store at the weekend.
The shop is within the East Bridgford Garden Centre, Nottingham, and local people are being asked to judge for themselves whether it could be the ‘best looking pet store around,’ via the local paper.
General manager Paul Lewis said: “It’s not been an easy task to open a new store at this time, but we’re delighted to now be open seven days a week.”
The new store features something for all pets but with a particular focus on dog and cat products. Products include 100% natural goodies, air-dried deli treats and raw feeds, to items such as memory foam beds.
A number of new jobs have been created at the store with the new team being enrolled on an online training course created by Hannah Molloy of Channel 4’s Puppy School. The course was created especially for the Just for Pets team.
Store manager Mark Johnson said: “It’s fantastic to join a company that really cares about pet health and well-being.
“The training programme will help us offer our customers the very best and most-up-to-date advice on everything from pet nutrition to animal behaviour, as well as providing services such as force-free harness fitting in store, which considers a dogs needs and behaviour while fitting a new harness.
The store has been opened with a full range of social distancing and safety measure in place.
