Retailer Jollyes has opened a new branch in Rotherham, its 101st UK store.
To celebrate the landmark, the store was opened with a “101 Dalmatians” party, including a Dalmation amascot and a Cruella de Vil character. They were joined on the opening day, March 22, by Mayor Cllr Robert Taylor and local Rotherham ‘Ambassa-dogs’ Fenrir and Daisy. Also on hand at the opening were local charities Sheffield Retired Greyhounds and Adoptapaws UK.
The new store, which features a Jolly Groomer salon and Community Pet Clinic, has created 10 new jobs and is managed by Cat Wildey who’s moved from Jollyes’ Doncaster store.
Jollyes’ regional manager Kerry Midgley said: “We’re delighted to have opened the store and begun serving pet parents in and around Rotherham.
“We’d like to thank Mayor Robert Taylor and his team for joining us to give the store a brilliant launch – and of course all the dalmatians that joined us on opening day!”
