Just for Pets, the specialist pet chain saved from administration nearly four years ago, is opening its biggest-ever store on a retail park in Stafford on Saturday (May 1).
Store manager Jack Bocock said: “I’ve worked for Just for Pets for almost 10 years and it’s really exciting to see the company back on track and opening a new store in Stafford.
“A lot has changed over the past few years and customers are delighted with the new look and new products in all stores.”
The new store at Kingsmead Retail Park, Stafford, has created new jobs for the area.
“We’ve offered jobs to a number of new team members in the height of lockdown,” added Jack. The whole team are passionate about pets and will also be enrolled in our in-house training programme, developed by Hannah Molloy of Channel 4’s Puppy School ,so we can offer our customers the best and most up to date advice.”
The new store will contain the largest range of raw dog food and treats in the Staffordshire area, and will be packed full of natural, packaging-free treats.
Leanne Blunn, buyer at Just for Pets, said: “As well as our most popular products the Stafford store will also feature local brands. We’ve been really excited by some of the innovative and interesting products that we’re able to offer our customers.”
The Just for Pets chain won PetQuip’s UK Pet Retailer of the Year in 2019, since when the team has started to look for more stores to add to its now stable business.
