A pet shop and doggy day care centre specialising in natural pet foods, treats and accessories, has increased its online turnover by 164% during the coronavirus pandemic.
During lockdown Natural Cornish Pet, based in St Erth, Cornwall, upped its online catalogue to include all products in its range. It also added a simple click-and-collect service and its Doggy Day Care looked after the pets of key workers.
The shop and day care, run by Jordan Coombe and Katy Peck, is now set to expand its own-label range, introducing a number of new products including own-brand raw dog food, a new peanut butter for dogs, hypo-allergenic fish treats, salmon oil, meat treats and also becoming a distributor for an organic, vegan and lactose-free frozen treat for dogs called Doggy, Doggy, Yum, Yum.
The shop also has its own range of dry and cold-pressed foods called Aflora, which cater for the specific dietary needs of sensitive dogs and are grain- and gluten-free and are distributed nationwide.
