Retailer Redpaw Pet Supplies has launched a new website to support a growing demand for online sales.
The business, based in Plymouth, Devon, originally had an online presence to promote its bricks and mortar outlet. However, interest in its pet products and nutritional consultancy services from customers from outside the local area has seen demand for online sales increase.
The new site, www.redpawpets.co.uk, has been developed by specialist marketing and PR company, Tillymint Communications. It presents shop categorisation across 70 brands and 400 products which can be filtered using newly created product attributes such as flavour, health benefit, pet age and price. Tillymint has refreshed the Redpaw corporate identity and created a digital mascot – Gracie.
Redpaw founder Sammie Hunt said: “We are delighted with our new website which is now clear and easy to navigate. Our old site had grown organically but was creaking under the ever-increasing number of products we’d added to it. It looked dated and hadn’t been built with categorisation in mind.
“Our new site provides our customers with clear sections based on animal type and life stage, which can then be filtered to product type, sub-categories such wet or dry foods and then filtered to find a particular brand, benefit or ingredient.”
