The Pet Industry Federation is today moving into new premises in Olney, Buckinghamshire, after nearly 25 years at its office in Bedford.
Since PIF’s re-branding and emergence as a distinct trade association in 2014 following its split from the Pet Care Trust, its membership has almost doubled, and its range of educational courses and qualifications has increased to offer training for every type of pet business. In addition, PIF has enhanced its policy work, occupying a seat on the All Party Parliamentary Group for Animal Welfare and the steering committee for the Canine and Feline Sector Group; launched its Petindex trade show for April 2020; and has just implemented a new membership platform.
Nigel Baker, PIF CEO, said: “The move to new offices in Olney marks the beginning of an exciting next phase for PIF and brings together our team into an improved working environment better suited to the projects that we are looking to launch over the coming months. Our new offices are more in keeping with what PIF has become, namely a trade association owned by its members, where all the activities we undertake are for the benefit of our members.”
From today (July 9), PIF’s new address is 1 Cobbs Court, High Street, Olney, Buckinghamshire, MK46 5QN.
