Just for Pets, which opened its biggest ever store in Stafford last month, has pledged to continue supporting smaller, innovative pet businesses post the covid-19 pandemic.
To help business start-ups under its Best of British pledge, the specialist retailer has agreed to pay smaller product suppliers under the scheme up front for stock.
It has also committed to stocking the new products for at least 12 months with a guaranteed listing on its new website www.justforpets.co.uk.
The pledge will give Just for Pets customers the latest trends for their pets with new and exciting products in store at every visit. While customers can enjoy a range of exclusive products instore, the company has pledged to never ask smaller suppliers for exclusivity, something which is common from larger retailers and can harm smaller pet businesses.
Leanne Blunn, from Just for Pets buying team, said: “We’ve always strived to give our customers the best products for their pets health and wellbeing.
“As well as our most popular Just for Pets products, the Stafford store will also feature local brands. We’re looking to work with an even wider range of smaller companies to help them build new and successful businesses.
“We’ve been really excited by some of the innovative and interesting products that we’re able to offer our customers through these Best of British partnerships.”
Just for Pets hopes the scheme will both support smaller businesses and deliver the best products in the UK for their customers.
