Southampton retailer Healthy Pet Store has held its first dog trainer event, featuring a visit from dog behavioural expert and TV star Chirag Patel.
The store hosted over 30 dog enthusiasts to its event, Chirag on the High Street, where the expert mingled with dog trainers from across the region and gave a talk on human-animal relationship and new training concepts, including a live demonstration. Attendees were also able to examine the latest training gear and mix with like-minded professionals.
Healthy Pet Store managing director Deborah Burrows supplied bubbly and canapés for the guests, all of whom went home with a goody bag including products such as an Acme whistle, paracord lanyard, fleece tug toy and thermal flask.
Deborah said: “The event was just fantastic. Chirag offered such an interesting insight into some of his behavioural concepts and challenged the way we describe relationships with our companion pets.
“Everyone had a smile on their face and the trainers said they thoroughly enjoyed meeting and mingling with Chirag. We all learnt a huge amount from him. I would like to say a massive thank you to Chirag for visiting us.
“I loved seeing so many people from the dog-loving community coming together to learn and meet each other. It was such a wholesome evening. The goody bags went down a treat too.”
