The owner of a Flintshire pet store has unveiled plans to move to a larger premises.
Victoria Clay, who runs Pups and Pets, in Dobshill, is looking to relocate to the former TTS Service and Repair Centre – just next door to her current base.
According to a report in The Leader, she is also looking to transform the existing store on Chester Road into a pet-friendly coffee shop in a bid to expand her business.
The proposals were revealed after an application was put forward to Flintshire Council.
The Leader said that, in documents submitted to the local authority, Victoria said her customers had already expressed strong support for the scheme.
“Our regular customers are extremely supportive about our plans to include a dog-friendly coffee shop as many bring their pets with them to our pet shop and view this as an extension of the service we already provide,” she said.
The council will rule on the application at the end of this month.
