A busy town centre street in Yorkshire was cordoned off after a pet shop roof collapsed on Thursday afternoon (September 3).
The fire service, police and the Calderdale Council all attended in Southgate, Halifax after the roof of Paw Prints fell through, according to press reports.
Two fire engines from Illingworth Fire Station and one from Halifax Fire Station were called to the scene around 3pm.
It was confirmed no-one was injured. The council told the Halifax Courier the West Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service have taken up an investigation.
The cordon was put in place by Haven Building & Maintenance on the Old Cock Yard courtyard to the rear of the commercial premises.
Paw Prints reopened on Friday morning after it was deemed safe to for staff to re-enter the premises.
The space next to Paw Prints was home to the former Game store, which was demolished in 2017 after being badly damaged due to a fire.
