Two men have been arrested following multiple burglaries, including a pet shop break-in, in the New Forest on Wednesday night (October 14).
The Village Pet store on Ringwood Road in Bransgore, Hampshire, was broken into at around 10.52pm and a small amount of money was stolen, alongside charity collection tins.
A service station at Fordigbridge was then targeted by burglars at 11.40pm and tills were taken from the premises.
Hampshire police said the suspects – 20-year-old and 25-year-old men from Ringwood – fled from both scenes in a green Mercedes. The car was then linked to a further burglary in the early hours of the following morning in Dorset, but the men were later detained by officers.
