Lincolnshire-based Natural baked dog food manufacturer Laughing Dog has received a special delivery to its farm bakery – two new trailers fitted with digitally-printed lorry curtains.
Organised by local logistics company George H Kime & Co, the designs depict the family bakery’s most famous dog, Alfred, who can be found on all the brand’s packets of Gloriously Grain Free dry and wet complete foods.
Kime’s will be putting the trailers into immediate action. If anyone spots Alfred out and about, Laughing Dog is encouraging customers to send a photo – only if it is safe to do so and they are not driving! – to their Facebook, Instagram or Twitter pages or to email it to [email protected]. In return, the bakery will send consumers a 50% discount voucher and free Laughing Dog treats. And pet shops will receive £60 worth of Laughing Dog treats free of charge instead of a discount voucher if they submit a picture.

Ben Mankertz, from Laughing Dog Food, said: “We were delighted to work with Kime’s on this project. We’ve worked closely with the family firm for many years and were thrilled when they asked if they could create some branded designs for Laughing Dog. Featuring a playful Alfred was the natural choice; we know our customers like to keep up to date with his latest antics and we thought it was high time he went on a new adventure! The Laughing Dog team would also like to thank the Collaborators, in Bath, for their clever artistry and Lawrence David Trailers, of Peterborough, for ensuring the colours were matched perfectly.”
Nigel Kime, managing director at Kime’s said: ”We are proud and delighted to be working with Laughing Dog Food. It’s in our interest to support and advertise their natural baked brand, and there is no clearer way of advertising this product than on the roads throughout the UK.”
Laughing Dog is part of Fold Hill Foods, based in Boston.
