Henry Bell & Co has commissioned additional warehousing capacity at its Grantham site in Lincolnshire.
The new, state-of-the art facility can hold more than 1,000 pallet spaces and incorporates an internal loading ramp for loading containers to meet the company’s expanding export business.
With an eye to the environment, the insulated building incorporates lux LED motion-sensitive lighting and high-speed shutter doors. The extension was chiefly thanks to the success of the company’s EquiGlo Quick Soak 10 Minute Beet horse feed.
In addition to its EquiGlo horse feeds, Henry Bell is a major manufacturer of a wide range of pet and animal feeds, including the well-known Mr Johnson’s brand for small animals and Dog Gone Fishin’ canine treats.
“Introducing EquiGlo Quick Soak 10 Minute Beet to the market has been a fantastic move for us,” said Simon Parker, of Henry Bell. “It has been met with great enthusiasm by retailers and consumers, who have been extremely impressed by the feed’s fabulous quality at a great value-for-money price. Responding to growing demand from our export customers is a natural next step and our expansion plans will support swift and significant growth in this area.”
Henry Bell has been a trusted name in the feed sector since 1825, bringing nearly 200 years of knowledge and expertise to underpin products in the EquiGlo brand.
