An image that has appeared online has left many scratching their heads as to whether the animal is actually a cat or a crow.
At first glance the image appears to be a crow with a distinguishable beak, but in reality it’s a black cat with its head tilted to the side and one eye closed, the Daily Mirror reports.
Robert Maguire, research director at Citizens for Ethics, shared the snap on Twitter, and his post garnered more than 162,000 likes and 57,000 retweets, as well as more than 1,000 comments from people.
One Twitter user wrote: “Lol I totally had to look at this a few times…”
Even the BBC’s Jeremy Vine was taken in by the illusion, tweeting: “Help me with this.”
